A rugged tear-drop beacon tag for tracking high-value items indoors or outdoors. It works with the V-Tag gateway: install a gateway in each area you want to monitor, and when the beacon comes in range it emits a periodic beacon that updates the asset's last-seen location in AssetWorx!.
V-Tag is an active Zigbee self-healing mesh — designed for reliable zone-level location, not sub-second RTLS. Positions settle across the mesh in roughly 3–4 minutes. That's the honest trade for battery life measured in years and near-zero fixed infrastructure.
